The SdKfz 250 was a light armored troop-carrying halftrack used by Germany during World War II. Its angular shape was similar in appearance to the larger SdKfz 251 “Hanomag” halftrack. Of all the tank designs to reach a 20th Century battlefield, no other vehicle has attained such legendary and mythical status as the German Tiger heavy tank. Backed up by undeniable battlefield effectiveness, the Tiger’s mythos grew to legendary status and struck terror into the hearts of those faced with the challenge of defeating it.

The origins of the Tiger tank date back to 1937, when a 30-35 ton heavy tank was discussed by German planners. The idea was dropped in favor of the more lightweight and mobile Panzer III and IV series, which proved adequately effective against allied forces in Poland and France. When Hitler turned his forces against Russia, they were soon shocked to be faced against the formidable T-34 and KV-1 tanks, both closely guarded secret weapons up to that point. A scale replica of Manitowoc’s MLC300 Latice-Boom Crawler Crane was created by Daniel Siskind, Brickmania’s chief designer, and is comprised of 267 genuine LEGO® parts and Brickmania Track Links™.

As a new release special add up to two Japanese Type 100 Infantry at a special price when you order your Type 92.  Supplies are limited. Special lasts till Sunday December 6th or while supplies last.

The type 92 70mm Battalion Gun was a howitzer adapted by the Imperial Japanese Army in the year 2592 (1932 in the Western Calendar). It was intended to fulfil the role of a direct fire howitzer, but could also function as a mortar due to the extreme elevation capabilities of the gun’s barrel. the original version had wooden spoked wheels, but were later equipped with stamped sheetmetal wheels. The Type 92 saw extensive action during the various campaigns on mainland Asia as well as in defence of the far-flung island defences in the Pacific. Type 92s were originally issued two per infantry battalion, hence the designation of Battalion Gun. Read More
